Ricardo Pedroza, M.A.
Ricardo Pedroza has developed his musical career in different countries. He has taught piano and music theory at Instituto Petropolitano de Ensino(Brazil), Colombia Adventist University, Antillean Adventist University(Puerto Rico). More recently, he has served as music teacher at Hinsdale Adventist Academy and presently, he works as accompanist at Downers Grove South High School and Music director at New Hope Lutheran Church in Aurora. He is also actively teaching piano in the surrounding communities. He has performed as a soloist and as an accompanist in Venezuela, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and throughout the United States.
Mr Pedroza obtained his master’s degree from West Texas A&M University in 1993 where he studied Piano and Choral conducting.
In his lessons, he teaches useful keyboard skills such as proper technique, sight-reading, and accompanying. It is always his goal to commit to his students and to create the best possible learning environment according to the students’ needs, goals, and backgrounds.
